This project consisted of the demolition of the existing party Shack building and the entire reconstruction of the back half of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon property. The sitework consisted of improved storm drainage including underground detention, retaining walls, regrading, landscaping, turf, fencing, sport court, and new hardscapes to allow for more efficient traffic and pedestrian flow throughout the property. Removable bollards enable a large portion of the parking lot to be closed from vehicular traffic for large events. The new Shack was rebuilt from the ground up by a combination of concrete foundation walls and steel and wood construction for an open and aesthetically pleasing ceiling concept for the event space. The new 3,000SF building also includes restrooms, storage areas, and exterior porches that are sure to be enjoyed for years to come.
