Timberland Solar O&M Building, located in Carlton, GA, is the operational center for an 1800-acre solar farm in Oglethorpe County. This facility will also house operations for multiple solar locations across the east coast. Construction consisted of wood framing with a pre-engineered truss system and metal roofing and wall panels. Extensive mechanical was included as well to ensure the continuous operation of owner supplied control equipment would remain at ample operating temperature. The building is also designed to operate via electricity from the typical electric service provider or from the onsite solar panels with the flip of a switch.
