Milestone recently completed another New W4/Tidalwave in the mountains of Christiansburg, VA. While constructing a new car wash in the mountains, Milestone was presented with several challenges to complete this project. The team had to excavate, export and import over 17,000 yards of soil due to unforeseen site conditions and unstable soils present on the mountainous site.
While also dealing with the winter conditions of a mountain landscape, Milestone also worked closely with the Town of Christiansburg and the other local Jurisdictions to complete the project not only to our Customer’s standards, but to the local standards of the Town of Christiansburg.
Once completed, Milestone achieved:
- Excavated and in-filled approx. 17,000 CY yards of dirt.
- Installation of new Town of Christiansburg right of way sidewalk, which entailed working with Virginia DOT and Town of Christiansburg.
- New automated car wash equipment package
- Sustainable Reclaim Water Tanks and Oil & Water Separator Tanks.
