Milestone, through its Hospitality Division, completed the ground-up construction of Demaret Cottage, a two-story, 6,545 SF, 8-bedroom guest cottage for Arcis Golf. Named in honor of PGA legend Jimmy Demaret, a 31-time PGA Tour winner and the first three-time Masters champion, the cottage was designed to elevate the club’s on-site guest accommodations.
The project features refined, resort-quality finishes throughout, including white oak flooring, white oak wall paneling and staircases, custom casework, ceramic tile, bluestone pavers, Taj Mahal countertops and backsplashes, and reclaimed faux wood beams. Hospitality amenities include indoor and outdoor kitchens with panel-ready Wolf appliance packages and a fold-up window bar that enhances indoor-outdoor functionality.
Milestone delivered the project within a six-month construction schedule while working in and around active golf club operations, requiring careful coordination, controlled logistics, and a disciplined approach to minimize disruption to members and daily club activities.
