Milestone Construction recently revitalized a 1940s cotton storage warehouse, transforming it into a 14,600 square foot facility that now houses the Tax Commissioner, Tax Assessor, and Planning & Building Inspections Departments for Waynesboro, Georgia. This transformation included an interior upfit of an existing cotton storage warehouse as well as a 5,000 square foot of existing shell space between two warehouses separated by masonry wall.

The project consisted of framing up of flooring system with cold formed framing to level the nearly 42” inches of slope from front to rear of building, saw-cutting openings in 16” thick masonry walls to open the space and install new window openings at the exterior, MEP under-floor rough in, plywood decking, light gauge wall framing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, LVT flooring, ceramic tile, cabinetry and countertops.
